Toni Raynolds
Toni Raynolds began quilting as a way to connect more with her mom—a quiet act of love that opened the door to something much bigger. In those early stitches, she found not only shared memories but a spark of joy that led her to join her church’s quilt ministry. What began as a simple way to bond became a lifelong calling.
Today, Toni is a Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor, founder of Pieced Perfection, and proud owner of Hidden Falls Farm Retreat—a peaceful, purpose-filled escape in the rolling hills of Nancy, Kentucky. Designed with quilters, crafters, and makers in mind, the retreat center is a place where creativity blooms, community deepens, and every guest is welcomed like family.
Toni’s teaching style is rooted in precision and encouragement. She specializes in traditional piecing, drawn to the way geometric shapes and color work together to tell a story. Her expertise also includes applique, embroidery, foundation paper piecing, and fabric based projects like reading pillows, wreaths, bags, and memory bears—each one a small celebration of love, legacy, and creativity.
She draws inspiration from quilters like Timna Tarr, Deb Tucker, and Jinny Beyer, and is a proud member of the Quilt Guild of the Bluegrass and the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society.
At Hidden Falls Farm Retreat, you’ll find more than a class—you’ll find sunlight streaming into the workroom, the quiet hum of machines, the warmth of shared meals, and the laughter of newfound friends. Whether leading a workshop or hosting guest instructors, Toni pours her heart into creating a space where people feel refreshed, inspired, and truly at home.
She lives in Lexington, Kentucky, with her husband Jim and brings 36 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry, where she was highly recognized.
And through it all—every class she teaches, every quilt she designs—Toni still feels the thread that first drew her in. “Every stitch,” she says, “is a quiet way of remembering where it all began—with my mom, and a shared love that continues to grow.”
