Turn your love of quilting into a functional piece of art with the Quilty Clock workshop taught by the talented Anne Marcellis! This delightful 14” x 14” wall clock blends classic quilting aesthetics with foundation paper piecing—a perfect project for brightening your sewing studio, craft room, office, or gifting to someone special.
Whether you’re brand new to foundation paper piecing or ready to refine your technique, Anne teaches with patience, clarity, and encouragement. You’ll explore thoughtful fabric placement, learn how to use freezer paper to achieve perfect curves without chopping off points, and transform your finished mini quilt into a real working clock—complete with a wrapped canvas frame and quartz movement.
No free-motion quilting required.
You’ll finish your piece using straight-line stitching with a walking foot, so choose a coordinating thread to enhance your design.
✨ FREE Color Consultation Included!
Color is one of the hardest—and most fun—parts of this project! Enjoy a free color consultation by contacting Anne directly prior to the workshop.
✔ Anne will chat with you about your favorite colors and fabric style, helping her understand the look and feel you want for your clock.
✔ Together, you’ll create a customized color arrangement using your chosen palette, making the design feel uniquely yours.
✔ Anne will then provide a beautiful digital preview of your Quilty Clock, so you can see your design come to life even before the workshop begins.
This service is included with your retreat registration and gives you total confidence before you ever make your first cut.
Anne also provides a variety of colorway ideas her upply list provided upon registration, and she can share additional combinations upon request.
