Many quilters feel uncertain when it comes to choosing colors and fabrics — and you’re not alone! Certified Color Confidence Instructor Alesia Willett understands how intimidating color selection can feel. Whether you tend to stick with the same few colors, rely on kits or fabric collections, or simply don’t trust your “eye for color,” this class will help you break free from color ruts and gain lasting confidence in your choices.

Alesia believes that an “eye for color” isn’t something you’re born with — it’s something you can develop! In this hands-on workshop, she takes the mystery out of selecting fabric palettes through simple, practical lessons in color theory. You will learn tools that will help you to choose your colors with confidence, mix patterns effectively, and how to draw inspiration from your own unique color style. Through fun, hands-on exercises, you’ll begin to see color in a whole new way — understanding how hue, value, harmony & contrast, and saturation work together while discovering what truly draws you in. We will also explore why some pallets work and some don’t and how to “fix” the ones we just can’t seem to get right!

In this class, you’ll learn to train your eye to build beautiful, balanced palettes with confidence. Whether you’re new to the color wheel or looking to stretch your creative comfort zone, Alesia’s encouraging teaching style makes learning color approachable, fun, and inspiring.
